Sweet Pea Workshop: January 26th, 2025

Workshop Date: January 26th, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm

Location: Ivy Way Farm, 4520 Markham St.

We would love to welcome you onto our farm for a workshop all about sweet peas.  

This workshop is for anyone who would like to learn more about growing sweet peas. Whether you are brand new to growing or would like some help with having a successful sweet pea patch, this workshop is for you.  

We will dive head first into the beautiful world of sweet peas.  With tips and ideas on how to find the best spot in your garden, caring for your plants, helpful bugs vs. bad bugs, sweet pea varieties and their differences, resources to buy seed, fall planting compared to spring planting and so much more.  

This past year our farm has grown over 30 varieties of sweet peas and I will share some varieties that I have found the best for cut flowers, scent, stem length and colour. 

The workshop will be held in our home, on our farm.  We will have warm drinks and goodies for you during the workshop along with a gift for you to take home of our own sweet pea seeds.  

*Please note that our home has stairs.  We want to make sure the workshop is accessible to all, please let me know if there are any issues and I will change our workshop location on the property.
