"Where flowers bloom, so does hope."

OUR STORY
Owners Heidi and Kelly Cassaday
We moved to Victoria, BC in 2017 with our four boys, trading the Arizona desert life for a West Coast one. We both had a dream to one day own land and in 2019 that dream became a reality. As we settled onto our 2 acre farm we started to plan how we could make the farm into a cut flower farm. Our vision was to provide our local community with high quality and unique blooms.
DREAMS BECOME REALITY
2019: WE BOUGHT THE FARM!
My husband and I bought our small 2.5 hobby farm back in 2019. We had recently moved from Arizona to Victoria in hopes of being able to find a place to raise our boys that was, well, completely different! And upon finding this place we finally felt it was a place we could call home...yet it was a small working farm when we bought it. So that brought up so many questions, primarily how will we use this land?
2020
2020: Learning ALL the lessons
I took a flower farming course in January of 2020, and with that knowledge we decided that we would cultivate some of our front field into beds that I could grow from. It was a hard year to start a business with all that happened in our world. We had to step back from a lot of things but that also meant it gave me time to really make the mistakes, learn from them, and figure out what we really wanted to focus on.
TODAY, TOMORROW + BEYOND
GROWING
Eventually we built a farm stand, a hoop house, a designated sweet pea patch and slowly our dream turned into a reality! We run our flower farm in Victoria focused on providing beautiful in season blooms for our community. We believe in local products, focus on improving our soil health without the use harmful pesticides and creating a garden that attracts beneficial bugs.
