• Harvest: when all flowers have opened on stem

Seed Sowing:

Sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last frost, seed needs light to germinate so do not cover. Harden off and transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed. 

Cut Flower:

Harvest when all flowers are open, if picked too soon stem will wilt. Statice is an excellent dried flower, hang upside down for over a month.
