Seed Sowing:

Direct seeding is recommended, succession plant every 2-3 weeks in the early part of the season for continuous blooms.  Fall sow where winters are mild.  Cover seeds lightly with soil as light is needed for germination.  

Cut Flower:

Harvest when flower is 3/4 open, can also be cut once seed pod has formed.  Fresh flowers can last for 7 days in a vase.  The pods last for much longer, and can be used as a dried flower.
