Feverfew Ivy Way Mix
Tanacetum parthenium
I grow a long row of feverfew on my farm, all different varieties collected from year's of growing them. In the mix you will find, tetra white, snowball, magic single, and a few magical ones that have emerged in the patch! Pictures are below.
Details:
- Type: Hardy Annual/Tender Perennial
- Site: Full Sun
- Height: 24 to 36"
- Plant Spacing: 9" apart
- Pinch: not necessary
- Harvest: when flower cluster/spray is half open.
Approx. 50 seeds per pack
Seed Sowing:
Sow 5-7 weeks before transplanting in fall or spring. Gently press seed into medium for seed starting. Do not cover, needs light to germinate. Bottom water or mist so seed is not covered. Can be direct seeded outdoors as soon as soil can be worked.
Cut Flower:
Try to cut feverfew once over half of the flowers in the cluster have opened. Cutting them too early will mean the flowers wilt and droop. Can be dried.
