Seed Sowing:

Sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before transplanting.  Basil is sensitive to cold so plant outdoors only when danger of frost has passed.  

Cut Flower:

Basil is a fragrant and easy to grow filler, wait until the flower spike has formed to harvest.  Harvest in the coolest part of the day to minimize wilting.
