Seed Sowing:

Direct sowing is recommended, as soon as your soil can be worked.  This plant likes cooler weather.  Sow every 2 to 3 weeks for continuous blooms.  

Cut Flower:

Harvest when one or two of the flowers have opened.  Immediately after cutting Agrostemma, place bottom of stem into boiling water for 10 seconds, you can also use a product called Quick Dip instead of boiling water, this will give your flower a 5-7 day vase life.
